Huh, why??  You are already doing that in your abicon, and my
sophisticated versions are in the old bicon script.

Release it for now.  We get a beta later with the fix.

A ZWNJ is converted to U-FFFF, which is peacefully ignored in
console, but not in gnome-terminal, etc.
