Read the CVS HOWTO (http://www.arabeyes.org/howto/cvs-howto/) and use
your CVS account to checkout (download) the code.

No. As I explained prior to your first post on the list, PuTTY is a Win32
application and it would not make sense to port it to Linux. From a PuTTY
user's perspective, it is what makes Windows feel as much and as close as
possible to linux.
