true, if you look to T on arial or times the difference is that
arial T is just two rectangles while the times one have got tails like
a triangle on each edge

but in Arabic calligraphy  we do have تذير
it's decoration not a font face, for example in naskhi
we can write Alif by moving the pen downward only
or we can give it a tail by returning to the top of it
and draw a small curve there
this is a soft of Serif
