أنا أترجم هكذا 
script=نص أوامر 
scripts=نصوص  أوامر
Perl scripts = نصوص أوامر Perl
this is script makes blah blah..= نص الأوامر هذا ينفذ بلاه...بلاه 

أما كلمة shell
فعلينا إيجاد ترجمتها الصحيحة و الأكيدة 
البعض من المترجمين السابقين ترجمها " الصدفة" أو " الغلاف " أو "شلّ" 
أو  "محارة "....
النقاش مفتوح ... ماذا تقترحون يا شباب ؟ ما هو معناها بلإنكليزية أولاً و لماذا 
يقولون shell ؟

1. <operating system> (Originally from Multics, widely propagated via Unix) 
The command interpreter used to pass commands to an operating system; so 
called because it is the part of the operating system that interfaces with 
the outside world.

The commonest Unix shells are the c shell (csh) and the Bourne shell (sh).


بما أننا نعرف جميعاً أن يونكس مكون من نواة و عدة مستويات ( طبقات ) من 
الإمتيازات و الصلاحيات للمستخدم فأنا أرى ترجمتها أقرب إلى شيئ مثل القشرة ( 
أنظر في الأسفل ) :
