Just to let you know : I have already made some work for adding or
proposing some missing locales in some languages, which is indeed an
interesting work.
I just started yesterday to edit and hack a ar_FR locale for "Arabic
in France" (there are about 3 million people speaking
Arabic here).
I will certainly have to ask a few hints around about this.
The following locales are currently supported in Debian:
ar_AE
ar_BH
ar_DZ
ar_EG
ar_IN
ar_IQ
ar_JO
ar_KW
ar_LB
ar_LY
ar_MA
ar_OM
ar_QA
ar_SA
ar_SD
ar_SY
ar_TN
ar_YE
Do you folks see any country were Arabic is widely spoken or, even
more important, where Arabic is the official language, which is mising
above?
