I suggest you checkout the .po (and .pot) files directly from KDE i18n CVS. Do
the following steps: open a console and type
$ export CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous at anoncvs dot kde dot org:/home/kde
$ cvs login
Just press "Enter" if there is a question about a password. If you don't have
a .cvspass file in your home directory create one (touch ~/.cvspass) and run
cvs login again.
check out the ar module from KDE CVS
$ cvs co kde-i18n/ar
then copy all the .po and .pot files there to your local copy of the Arabeye
CVS and start translating.
I'm commiting translations directly to the KDE CVS since I have a KDE account,
but you make your changes against the Arabeyes CVS and wait till ElZubair
comes and does the sync.
The current .po files in the Arabeye KDE CVS are somewhat outdated.
Hope that helps :)
