Yup, a discussion and a consensus is required. I'm also sure you
have your own terms/phrases you'd like to add, etc.

Once a couple of things are settled, we can break that file (as we did
on the 'wordlist' project) into a file per starting "letter".

Hafid, I spent a number of needless hours converting this thing from
an excel file to a .PO file (a format we can work with), I really really
hope you move away from using any microzift products and stick to open
source applications (ie. start using Kbabel).

Hafid, please answer the following questions,

 1. Where did you get this file from ? In other words, did you use
anyone else's translations ? Did you download anything from
    Microzift's site ?

With the amount of windows specific stuff I saw in that file, I'm
worried that it was downloaded from somewhere without regard to the
license. In short, I want to make sure we only use Open Sourced
and Free data. Do please advise (if you came up with that file
completely on your own then great :-)

 2. We really need to clean-up the file a bit as it currently contains
roughly about 13,000 translated phrases (multi-words) and about
3,000 ones that are not translated (I opted to include them as
    comments starting with 'Skipped').

    a. We need to move away from the microsoft centric stuff in there
    b. We need to resolve the multiple entries of the same term
    c. We need to translate those terms that are not translated yet
    d. We need to reach consensus and agree on the translations

So the question now is - what to do next ? Well, I would suggest we
start with answering the questions above and then we can move to see
if we want to remove some terms and/or even add more info to the
single file. We also need to know if this is something we'll be
up-keeping and people like to have this or not (I sure hope so :-) ?
If we will opt to keep it and augment to it as we find new terms
and phrases (remember this is a 'technical' wordlist and is __NOT__
a general list of words), then we can break the file up into

 techlist_A.po
 techlist_B.po
 etc...

Just let me know.

The 'techlist.po' file is already in CVS under the 'wordlist' project's
hierarchy under "other/" (it kinda seemed befitting for it to be there).

Salam.

 - Nadim
