Salaam,
Barnaamij yaqidh is NOT okay. You are using here two words instead of
one in an expression that might be used a lot which doesn't make it
practical, and you are replacing a very well known term by another that
will require relearning.
If you don't want to simply transliterate it, then "jinni" is perfect.
