There is no 'commitment list'. The word 'commit' is used in two different
contexts. When Nadim talks about 'commitment', that is just the regular
meaning of commit. When we talk about cvs commits, that refers to the files
being uploaded to the CVS repository (this upload is called 'commit').

That is prceisely the reason why we use CVS ;) It takes care of that for you.
For more information about CVS itself check http://www.cvshome.org/. Also,
Isam wrote a nice howto for WinCVS (a cvs client for MS-Windows) in Arabic
that you can read on http://www.arabeyes.org/faq/wincvs/.

Also, since all the messages on this list (and other Arabeyes lists) are being
archives, you can always look through the archives and follow message threads
pertaining to the questions you asked (which have been anwered previously,
perhaps in a more complete way than this). The archives for the doc list can
be accessed on http://www.arabeyes.org/archives/doc/.

$ cvs update

is all you need to run to get your local copy of what's on our CVS updated. If
you are using a graphical client then you may want to consult the
documentation for that.

There is a *lot* that you can do. However, this is 'part' of the Arabeyes
project -- the translation/documentation. So, yes, as far as this sub-project
of Arabeyes is concerned, all you need to do is translate English strings to
Arabic.
