Re: PuTTY testing (shaping)

so here is putty's new URL, with a primitive versioning system,
http://www.toomuchcookies.net/~arabeyes/putty5.exe

thanks to Omar Abou-Namous for the space..

remember to Force a redraw, i.e minimize and maximize...

I tried the latest changes - I see that all the characters are
now shaped, but I think the "flipping" is disabled and so things

yes, in putty4.exe it was...

look rather odd :-). Plus I tried to mentally flip the characters
and I think there are some issues with the shaping code (something
tells me you know all about this :-)

all shaping issues should now be gone.... (it might seem strange, but after min and max everything should look as it should be, without BiDi) Ligatures were not handled, now they are... when LAM-ALEF is found LAM is changed to the Ligature glyph and ALEF is changed to a space... does any1 have any better ideas..?? keep in mind that the buffer size has to be the same, the source buffer IS the destination buffer... maybe a simple position shifting would be nicer... :)

+ 1 big problem left, will discuss it with Simon (BiDi related)...

BTW: I'm not sure how you are debugging your code, but if you are
unable to login (ssh) to a host to do a simple 'cat', let me
     know.

hehehe, isnt it ironic..? im PuTTY's maintainer and i dont know how to use it..?
Yes i cant do a simple cat... i tried typing sshd on 1 computer and used PuTTY
on the other, but it didnt work, i even tried sshd and ssh on the same computer
and it didnt work...

ak...
