I am happy to welcome you finally abroad (in fact Mohamed is a friend of 
mine :))

As you know, there's a lot of work to do on Bayani, so you contribution is 
sincerely welcome.

About translation, There is the HUGE file 'full_wordlist.po' 
(http://cvs.arabeyes.org/cvsweb/translate/misc/full_wordlist.po) which is 
the "mother" of all translations. Actually it is far from being finished and 
Ossama Khayyat is working on it but I think there is room for two to work on 
it (I'm making the assumption that you are willing to work on the 
translation). Finishing the translation of this file means that it will easy 
and standardize all the current and the future translations.

I have a book edited by ALECSO (http://www.slis.uwm.edu/alecso/, an Arab 
League organization). It is a unified dictionnary of computer science terms. 
I don't know however how to benefit everybody with it except by 
participating in the translation... If someone has an idea ?

If you are interested in working on the translation i strongly recommend 
that you subscribe to the 'doc' list which is the central list for the 
Arabeyes translation related activities.
