Arabic support in m17n's emacs code was very usable and almost complete.
There weren't that many issues left with it (most were minor) from a user's
prospective, our only concern was making sure that excellent effort made
its way into emacs' main trunk and I can see that there is movement in
that direction which I too applaud and highly encourage (for whatever
it's worth :-)
