Fully agreed.. we certainly don't want to run into unpredictable
problems in the near/long future.

I am not familiar with neither. I haven't had the luxury of working with
RAID or Sync (not sure what Sync is actually). Anmar, you're the
sysadmin, make an informed decision ;)
