Under Debian I have found itools which contain /usr/bin/idate but not
"ical". Is "itl" the same as "itools?" If no, I am interested in
packing it for Debian.

... :-)

apt-get install itools

...bingo!

Ther is one thing I do not like:

'idate' output:

----8<--------------------------------------------------------------
Date Format (dd/mm/yyyy):
+ Input : 22/ 9/2006 - Friday(Fri) - September(Sep)
-----------------------------
+ Output : 28/ 8/1427 A.H - Jumaa(Jum) - Shaaban(Sha)
----8<--------------------------------------------------------------

Is there an option to switch this off:

----8<--------------------------------------------------------------
Date Format (dd/mm/yyyy):
+ Input : 22/ 9/2006 - Friday(Fri) - September(Sep)
-----------------------------
+ Output :
----8<--------------------------------------------------------------

I like to have only:

    28/8/1427 A.H - Jumaa(Jum) - Shaaban(Sha)

All other is uninteresting. I do not like to write all
the times wrapers for it using sed/tr/grep and sisters.

Note: Currently I am working on "swhoisd" which is uploaded to
<mentors.debian.net>. Same for "tdbashlib" plus "tddebidate"
        and I am preparing 8 other tools/packages...
