this may help
yeah when you disable it, as i thought it works - but i get the
same old fonts that i had before that look very bad.
or i think there should be a how-to for slackware ?
that's what i followed to install xftt in the first place. its
just that i was told that the font used in the screenshot for
the program was the tahoma font... but its appearing as
iso-8***-1 rather than -6, despite the # of different versions i
tried, tehy are all coming out this way... and half arabic, half
english, the half arabic is with the old font even, not the
tahoma looking font.
so i guess i have to stick with the old font then :-/ unless
you got any other ideas..
