Thanks a bunch for the pointers on using KDE3. As for the version of QT I use,
it is qt-3.0.1 as per the how-to provided with KDE3-beta. Setting the default
font to 'Tahoma' made a lot of difference. I urge you to view
http://www.arabgate.com which displays arabic text along boxes.
