Assalamu Alaykum Meor,

ok, i downloaded and the files and created the htm-files. Myself, i won't be doing the real work, however i am trying to encourage some people from around me to proofread the data. From what i see, you can't see the tashkil in firefox. In ie it is working fine. That's ok though, just wanted to make sure, you knew..

My question: where to start proofreading? Are you guys dividing the work, or should everybody just start from the beginning and read till the end?

Another question isn't really important, just out of curiosity(?): Who typed all this into the computer?

You can find everything at
http://www.pakistanopensource.org/projects/quran/  . The main data is
the XML file. The is a perl script also to extract the XML file to
convert it HTML file for viewing purpose, or you can use the apps from
the Quran project. Please use the font supplied for rendering the
quran.

Please let me know which part of the quran you are working on. Let me
know where the errors are (if any) so that I can rectify it.

There will be a new font coming soon.
