did you look in a perl installation?.
There are mapping tables in binary form in the
/usr/lib/perl5/Unicode/Map8 directory. the format is described in the file
/usr/lib/perl5/Unicode/Map8.pm.
I'm not sure, but this does not seem to be a character-to-character mapping
but a character-to-string mapping. So
FD52 = ARABIC LIGATURE TEH WITH HAH WITH JEEM INITIAL FORM
means that the character FD52 must be mapped to a string (three
characters , tHj ).
I think some linguists/{unicode experts} on this list may give more feedback on this.
