The bug was submitted long ago and the patch is in, the problem is
simply that the latest pango release isn't out due to some problems
withing the gtk release shedule.

Abiword same thing (I submitted the bug reports to pango and to Abi),
the problem with Abi is that there isn't any patch against this due to
1100 bugs in abiword bugzilla the ppl didn't take any look at Arabic
support for Abiword.
Arabic was also neglected due to the lack of an Arabic translation which
isn't the case now.

So what does all this mean?
Wait simply wait for further devs but bugs are ported and patches are in
it's all about getting the pieces of the puzzle together.

So to conclude this thing the harakat applet is obsolete. if you have
any other idea pls feel free to work with us on any applet comes to your
minde we'll be more then happy to have you in our team.
