More testing revealed that the problem is in ae_* fonts, Kacst fonts, 
Traditional Arabic, Andalus.

The problem doesn't exist with Tahoma, Courier New, ...

The problem as mentioned previously doesn't appear in Qt apps, Winblows, ... 
which make it difficult to resolve unless an expert help us.
