Ah, the square thing:)

I have set the language encoding under konquerer to be cp-1256. I noticed
I can cover lots of Arabic web pages (not as much as Mozilla). Some Arabic
web sites show up with boxes & Arabic fonts. I have truetype fonts installed
and xfs-xtt running. Dunno if it is a must since latest XFreee86 should be
able to render TT but I have it running any way. Best results regarding
konquerer & Arabic is to set a custom stylesheet and hard code a font to be
used with any web site (I have Tahoma). I am yet to see boxes doing the
latter. The drawback with stylesheets IMHO is to loose bells and whistles
from web sites that have them (background images and the like).

There is a FAQ for installing TT under Arabeyes web site and it should do you
fine for the purpose of enabling TT.
