The project really has 2 parts:

There is application localisation, that's already hosted at the 
Translation Project website.

This is only some 28 words.

Then, there is content. We have 825 words and phrases in an XML file. For 
Translation convenience I wrote a script that allows me to pull out the 
stuff from the XML file and make a POT file (and also, merge the .po file 
back into the XML). I am working on getting it integrated with the 
Translation Project, too. The POT file is in the Translation package on 
the LingoTeach site on Sourceforge (and I hope it will show up on the 
Translation Project website, too). If anything is deemed offensive, don't 
translate it and tell me about it... I hope there is no such thing, but my 
understanding of your ancient culture is limited. This content also has 
english sound files with it. It's .wav files in CVS, then they are 
converted into .ogg files for distribution. One word/sentence per file, so 
that's also 825. I wrote a small app to help cut it automagically.

Naturally, the application is still under development, and we are adding 
features and will add content too. But, with the .po files we can keep 
track of this pretty well. (I was told the content is very much US/Europe 
focused, if you have an Idea how to make it more broad, I'll be more than 
happy to merge this in :)

So what to do if, in your kindness and Freemindedness you decide to help:
Let me (or the list here) know what you intend to do. So I can make sure 
no 2 people do the same thing...
So, to help, you can go to the Translation Project, translate the 
application. Go to the lingoteach download page 
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=1637 and get the 
translation package. Translate the .po file with the content.
After that, record the words from the po file, and send me the .wav file 
of the session (background noise should be low, 1 second pause between 
words/sentences. (multiple voices are fine here, adds diversity).
