Re: I want to help arabize KDE

I too, point people at l10n.gnome.org for files.

Those statistics websites are clearer, more user friendly than a full
blown archaic cvs interface, and they offer the ability to see the
statistics along with direct links to files.

I personally prefer this over scaring the new translator with CVS and
its details. When they familiarise themselves enough, I propose
contributing directly to CVS.

In my experience, this has worked out pretty well, and that is more
important than an idealistic perfectionist method.

Ah.... where is Arabeyes' CVS [1] involved in the process outlined above ?
Or where you simply foregoing the details on what really takes place ?

BTW: once a person starts translating and once the maintainer validates
their work, the maintainer can then vouch (or even request) that
said person should get his/her own CVS account on Arabeyes so they
can commit files into the repository without using the maintainer
     as a proxy.
