In this instance, I think we should really look into Almwarid's
suggestion. Let's not come up with things when there are established
resources.
One of the meaning of the word was (after insect, etc):
علّة (في جهاز)
e.g Eliminating the bugs in television.
And that rightly conveys the meaning, a bug in a program is something
malfunctioning, i.e. معلول
Does it not mean what it does? is anybody goning to mistaken it for
something else?
