Normally a situation like this needs some discussion...
We are all working on gnome you, me and Ayman!

"Uss" is right indeed, it is a variation of the word "Asas" I even found
it in Lisan Al3arab ;)

Normally many files are changed when a new release is imminent, so the
old file gets merged with the new file and as a consequence many strings
change and have false translations, the first string you're pointing at
looks to be of that sort, as I also had many strings of that type and
wondered at first time of my translation period why the translation is
"so wrong" ?

The second string is plain wrong and seems to be some legacy translation
too.
As for the Word "T'ablo" the meaning here is an arrangement of cards
when playing the game. And yes the word does not reflect IMHO too the
real meaning.

Yep a cokie is "kooki" as the word kooki is worldwide transliterated, as the meaning is
not really a cake but a file that stores your personal info when
browsing a site repeatedly.
The idea here is that, as this word is transliterated in every language
and its real meaning would be very confusing to translate and to explain
simply using "kooki" is the best and only solution in my eyes.
Same thing for kookis.
As for disk space and "fadha ilkurs" I don't see any problem here, pls
can you explain?

Well as long as there wasn't any rule no one could "ignore" the shadda
and it's rule as there was nothing to ignore ;)

Well double check is necessary but spelling mistakes always occure, as
for grammar mistakes I hope that I've done so far my best to keep them
as low as possible.

Well I was making last year for half a year QAing on gnome, I think that
even if I couldn't correct everything, my 22 hours a day have maybe
contributed to some more quality in strings which are ok and thus do not
appear as badly translated strings.

Sometimes what you think is wrong could be right! There are many
opinions floating over there! Many views, many idea! thinking that this
or that is plain wrong does not help; coordination, working together,
discussing and helping each other before making a fast decision is every
time the right path to go!
Even if a translation is in your eyes totally wrong in it's grammar, in
it's meaning and in it's writing, convincing the other translator with
good arguments makes him mature and accept his mistake and makes you
grow too!
