another difference:
	(x,y) in one notation is (س,ص) and (س,ع)
                                 (seen,sad) and (seen,3ain)

i think it is a matter of user preference... even if there is a standard
and it is applied, so many people would be used to the old one.

I'm not sure... This can happen be for one or two generations but a standard would be spread afterwards.

Anyway, I think we are light years from a standard and Bayani (the new name of Maalam) seems to be going to use both notations indeed...
