[1] 'm working with some friends in egypt to have the text reviewed by AL-Azhar, they seem reluctant though, as they pointed us to King Fahd Complex edition, which is a totally misguided/misplaced effort. (they have special fonts with words as glyphs! and you need to install over 100 of them!) AFAIK this would be the first acknowledged digital edition of the text
You can access KFC CP1256 text using their search page. You should be able to access their full text through a set of HTTP GET requests... BTW, their text does not fully comply with Uthmani mushaf. I can send a few differences if you like. Best, Mohsen.
