I think once we're done verifying the text[1] it should be MD5SUMed so
that users could verify the authenticity of the text.
should binary distributions by arabeyes be signed as well? or is this
going to far? (signed, as in, load only the correct text)
[1] 'm working with some friends in egypt to have the text reviewed by
AL-Azhar, they seem reluctant though, as they pointed us to King Fahd
Complex edition, which is a totally misguided/misplaced effort. (they
have special fonts with words as glyphs! and you need to install over
100 of them!)
AFAIK this would be the first acknowledged digital edition of the text
