This is not the only challenge, there are words with shortcuts that are
oddly applied in Arabic. Please consider the following examples from the Quran:


ذلك تأويل ما لم تسطع عليه صبرا. سورة الكهف.
فما اسطاعوا أن يظهروه وما إستطاعوا له نقبا. نفس السورة.

يبسط: ألكتابة الدارجة ووردت: يبصط.

To Brother Ahmad Khalifa: I saw the grammar rules. Consider the following:

أكُ
أكُن
Sometimes when you enter

لم
it deletes the last letter in the second word, so you get the first word.

On the other hand, when you add a لم  to:

أنام

it becomes:

أنم
