Mr. M.Elzubeir put it best -- you are the project's leader/maintainer
as such you have the ultimate decision to make on how to proceed. We
as users (and hopefully assistants) can give suggestions, make our
views known and bring up issues that might be important to us individually
or as a community yet nothing precludes you from dismissing those ideas
if you are convinced that you are going down the correct path (a dialog
and discussion is always helpful of course and this is where a dictatorship
falls apart). Being a strong committed and driven leader who makes decisions
is far removed from a dictator for the former does not listen nor take into
account what is being said and doesn't abide by the overall well-being of
the serfs he's leading (I have a feeling I've digressed :-)
Mr. M.Sameer, it is your call - and we are all positive that you have the
best abilities to lead us all in the right path for all our comments and
ideas have already been noted and we are confident you are taking them
into consideration so do what you think is best.
For the record, 'core' exists to __serve__ Arabeyes' users (and not the
other way around). 'core' is a facilitator and is mandated with up-keeping
the overall Arabeyes project running and does not dictate technical
decisions nor impose them on projects (aside from procedural steps in
order to streamline the overall project management and to build a sense
of belonging) and as was noted 'core' is very keen in embracing that which
is needed and/or sought ('core' has very much tried to live under the "best
idea always wins" mantra).
Salam.
