Reading what you said above I understand you are basing your decision almost
50% on the previous example ?!?
Well, that's why QAC was created for, remember ? ie: to suggest, to propose,
to improve, to refer to existing work...... If you have any issue with what
is done on translation, then propose solutions (BTW, I remember you once said
you're going to work on Fedora...;). Anyway, if work is being duplicated then
you should simply tell us where and what. It's a community work after all and
I remember we have been asking all members who'd like to contribute to join
QAC (and we still are).
On a side note, there was a contact from a community of Arabic translators who
said they were planning to help us but we are still waiting for actual
contributions.
Anyway, if you're basing you 'resignation' decision mainly on such an argument
(again, based on what you said, I understand it that way only), then well...
But, if you have other reasons you don't want to tell us, then I guess we
can't do much about it.
Salam,
PS: I won't get into discussing the 'Arabeyes is not supporting OSS' statement
and such (unfair statements ? pointless ?... ;).
