Salam,
One of the reasons is that gcc3.x have many more improvments than 2.9x, 
the other reason is that most of the distributions is moving to gcc3.x 
and because of it's incompatibility with gcc2.9x i have decided to make 
all Haydar Linux gcc3.x compatible to avoid migration problems e.g. 
starting with the new compiler is better and less work that starting 
with an old copiler and mirating to the new one.
