Sorry for not having much to say about this... It sounds to me that all the
interesting things have already been said ;-) I agree with Nadim, that we
can take advantage of our geographical situation and make it ~12 (or more)
hours. Also, there should be only one guest (or 2 max) at a time.
Sorry if my actual conversations concern only the website ;), but I wanted
to say this:
If we have to spam people, i think we should not use those hotmail and yahoo
accounts. It doesn't seem very professional to me. I can make very quickly a
web interface from which a logged-in core-ite can send messages with
'contact at arabeyes org' (or his name) in the from and the reply-to fields,
make cc, bcc arch etc. When people reply, they reply directly to 'contact',
so that's a plus. The function used is the same that the one which sends
notifications from the todo manager or when a new user registers for ex. The
time involved here is very short (time to make an html form that's all).
What do you think ?
