Anyone willing to take on the putty project is great (especially after the
disappointing end of the initial work). As for the automation, I am all
for automating the user account registration, but of course giving access
to CVS, etc. will have to always be subject to personal review. So,
at the end, any automation would only make our lives easier, but should
not (I wouldn't expect it to) make any difference for the person registering.

Yeah.. I think some canned responses are useful at this point. Especially
that we don't say anything special at the first stage.
