It is interesting, but the audience for it would be VERY limited if it
were limited to the console (I think that goes without saying).

VIM _______must_______ be completed or else we are in dire straights. We
must have a main stream (vim, emacs, etc) with arabic support - no ifs
buts or maybes about it. If Akka could get involved on the console side
(now or in the future), great; but that should not detract from the importance
of adding Arabic support to VIM proper (and also to have it be in vim.org's
main
branch - ie. standard issue).

I've told Isam that I would be MORE than willing to help in finishing-up
any of the VIM work (given Mohammed's upcoming instructional/notes document)
and as such I hope to have VIM done by the end of November.
