 2. People should be able to modify their pages from the 'people' page
    when they login (and so should administrators) - there is an old open
    bug about this in bugzilla

No Nadim, this is not a bug. People can actually change their preferences normally. I don't think there is any bug there at all. Concerning admins, it is a TODO and not a bug. Please read my comments here:

I realize that alot of these things are not difficult to do, so can we
simply get 'em done.  Youcef now that you are back, could you spend
20-30 minutes and get these taken care of.

Yeah. Some of the items are easy, some are less. I think you are 'a bit' optimistic about the time involved, even for the easy items :-) I will think about a timeline and keep you updated. For the time being I'm doing things (...) that have been stalled for almost a year ;-)
