regarding the screenshot of GNU Free Font in gedit,
I can see that some glyphs are thicker than others, for example
Meem final form in العالم is very thick
seen and sheem are too thin and will be lost in photocopying
Waw letter should have more horizontal length
Tasheek (diacritics) should not split glyphs, it should go above the
previous letter (the to the right)
