Salaam,
If you just want to run OO text editor installed on another machine and see it on your machine, you can tell the other machine to display OO on your machine.
Just connect to the remote host while setting the display to the local host

[you at localhost ~]$  ssh -Y the.other.machine

then run OO editor (runs on the other machine, displays locally)

[you at remotehost~]$ oowriter

Salam,

on ubuntu 8.10 I tried vino (remote desktop) but:
1- didn't work until I configured server to accept all connection not
just local
2- when the second desktop connect the machine became very slow?

is there onother better solution?
the main idea is to share and watch text editor, is there a method allow
OOo to open tow window on tow machine?
