I agree with the idea of using Google Apps to provide emails to arabeyes members, but
in the case, ther original emails of
@arabeyes.org may not be accessible no more (it could be
substituted of course of that hosted on Google server).
in the case of
arabeyes.org giving a number of users more than sufficient, and requiring one
step to verify the ownership of the website (either by uploading a special webpage on the site or
changing some DNS records), and the second step is changing the MX records to point to google
mail servers (all details are available when signing up in this service).
One thing is to add, the user accounts given by this service are limited by 100 MB size for each.

I think it would be a good idea, but...
1) I think an account is not in question but better a forwarding alias
2) I fear spam, sina is not that powerful
3) it would add a responsibility (mail is a sensitive service, no one
wants to loose emails or to experience delays with it) to the admin ;-)
I thought about that and using Gmail *1 sounds like a good option (we would need a change in MX settings).. It allows up to 5000 user per domain. Unfortunately, we cannot get the Educational version as arabeyes isn't registered yet.
