Not necessarily... Live CDs are developed to introduce Linux or to fill a very 
specific need (for example, Multimedia Live CDs which you can use to view 
videos on any PC). Arabbix is thus aimed to introduce Linux to the Arabic 
people and to show them that there's an excellent alternative to Windows.

Of course I agree that on the long run people will tend to use more complete 
distros. And I agree too that many of the Live CDs out there are developed 
just for fun ;)

Well, it depends on the purpose of that distro (which is not clear yet)...
