Riyad, I like your icon very much, but for an application demonstrating
the Holy Qur'an I would vote for using originals (Well, not really
originals but at least they give the illusion that they are).
As a user, i would like to see a Qur'an application that looks the same
as a real 'mushaf' (the current icon is a scanned picture of a real mushaf)
Aside from that, I think it can be used for other quranic related
applications.
BTW: there is no such thing as 'official/standard gui', the only standard
thing is the whole project is 'libquran' AFAIK
