This is just to inform you that Mr. Lagally has patched ArabTeX now with
3.11a
3.11b
3.11c+lyx first phase of patching
3.11c+lyx2 (23.09.2003): second phase of patching.
Mr. Lagally is very quick in his patching. I think this is a good time now to 
test and report bugs for any one interested. I am about to finish all the 
bugs in my bag.

Regarding LyX, Jean-Marc Lasgouttes of the LyX Team provided me with a patch 
to solve the doublespacing problem with Arabic against the current 1.3.3 
version. It solved the problem of one double-spaced paragraph but fails in 
more than one para. If anyone wants to lend a hand or is interested in more 
details, I will be happy to provide it. I tried to patch it myself (since the 
code seems easy) but I failed :(
