I think it is best to wait for 1.0. There are several key items missing
in 0.8 which would make a very big difference once included:
 1. mlterm
 2. vim 6.2 (arabic support)
 3. emacs-bidi
 4. duali-data (duali is missing duali-data package)

Aside from the little things here and there like the spelling mistakes
in the initial boot (F2 options), etc.

However, if you are leaving today today and can only do it right away
please feel free to do it.

On another note (very off-topic) -- who is behind linux4sudan.org ?
