MySQL alpha released

The first alpha from the MySQL 4.1 development tree has been released,
with 
many new features including extensive Unicode support and character sets
which can be defined per column, table and database. While testing and
bug 
reports are being encouraged, this release is definitely not recommended
for 
production environments.
