As some of you may know, the Saudi LUG (Linux User Group) has announced the
first Linux Arabization worshop to be held in Egypt, Cairo on September 2nd
to 4th, 2001.
Unfortunately most of us are not going to be able to attend, but we can
participate by submitting papers and proposals. Check out
http://www.linux.org.sa/law
for more details.
I recommend we submit the following (after further polishing):
1. Chahine's Bibi proposal
2. The Arabic Documentation Standard draft
3. A more comprehensive goals and statement for the project (the now
Arabeyes Project).
Anything else would be very useful. I have already emailed the email
address provided, and asked if they had other specifics that we may want
to address. I am still to hear back from them.
