Hi
consult man pages for msgcat or msgmerge on linux
it explains how to handle duplicates
man is the shortcut for manual under unix
whenever you want to browse a command help page u can use it
it gives a lot of infos for each unix command, explanation of arguments,
validity doamin etc...
just type man msgfmt
or info msgfmt
with it you can work efficiently under linux.
