Since we seem to be going through some coordinator changes and since the
past coordinators left without clearly noting what needs to be done (as that
would have been ideal so that their email can be linked to from the various
sub-project pages so that newcomers know what to do), I'll try to spell-out
what is required.

 1. As a member of Arabeyes,
    b. If you plan to contribute, please register via the 'Join Us' link [1].
    a. Read the Handbook (in the 'about' page) which is available in both
       arabic and english [2].

 2. As a new member to the translation project(s),
    a. Read the "CVS-howto" (available on the 'docs' page [3]).
    b. Read the "Arabic Documentation Standards" (via 'docs' page [3]).
    c. Read the "Translator Guide" (via 'docs' page [3]).

 3. In order to start translating you'll need to do the following,
    a. Declare your availability and project preference (if any)
    b. Have the project's coordinator contact you with an assignment
(if you don't hear from him/her, ping them directly or via the
       'doc' mailing-list).
    c. New contributor will need to send back their completed assignment
back to coordinator for inspection (this is usually done outside
the scope of the mailing-list as this is of no interest to anyone
       except the 2 people involved).
    d. If coordinator is satisfied with the minimal work done and is
willing to take the responsibility of new contributor the coordinator
is to send an email to 'contact at arabeyes' requesting a CVS account
for new member (with new member's full realname, username and project
       responsibility).

Hope that makes sense -- we need a process in place or else it gets chaotic.

Thanks for your using your realname (nicknames should stay on IRC :-)

As is noted in the handbook - ____never____ ever post to more than a single
list at a time. If you absolutely must (and I can't think of a reason to be
honest) do it as separate emails (one for each list).

Salam.
