Ah, good so you are not gonna disappear (that was scary :-) Sure, go
off and try to find someone to do as you see fit (good luck). But...
I don't think we've ever worked on 2 versions of a translation project
at once on our CVS (due to branch complexities, confusion and such).
Elzubeir/Youcef (or someone in the know), comments ?

You know what you are doing, its just confusing for all those looking
