KDE Arabic Support

I installed KDE 3.0.2 on mandrake linux, with arabic
translation files. The files where installed properly
with out any error. But when I try to make the
language as arabic some strange characters are
displayed like squares. If anybody can help me in
this matter please email me at muhsinak at yahoo dot com
