A great deal of time was spent on this topic (both
on the 'developer' mailing-list and in private) and the
conclusion was NOT made lightly, we will proceed with a
project from the ground-up.  At this point there are two
very enthusiastic participants working on it; yet another
example of our collective Arab spirit in moving forward
this great cause :-)

If you are still interested in assisting, please subscribe
to the 'developer' mailing-list and post your intentions.
I'm sure Hatem and M.Yousif would love your help.
